Semi Final day in the Essex County Inter Group Knockout between Group 1 and Group 6 at Frinton Bowls Club.
Any Game against Group 6 is always going to be tough but the Group 1 team proved up to the task winning a thrilling game by just a single shot 123 shots to 122.
Standout performance winning by 16 shots was Conor Mathers rink supported by Martin Toole, Peter Giles & Ed Mercer.
However all the other 5 rinks kept the scores close so credit to all involved.
Team Manager Mark Hemstedt deserves a lot of credit for the time and effort he has put into this success as Group 1 head into the Final.
